Version 5 is being restarted from the original Version 4 sources. This is the original development attempt at Version 5

Ok, you want to download the latest version of the LittleSmalltalk system.

This version is an early alpha release of version 5.0.

We plan lots of alphas until the final 5.0 release. Those alpha versions also may contain completely new technologies and are absolutely not feature frozen or in any way feature stable.

Currently you can download the sources, a Visual C++ 6.0 project and everything you need to compile the stuff (including cd, iup and sqlite3). So simply download the package, open it in the Visual Studio 6.0 (or newer), compile it and have fun!

Alternatively you can also download a precompiled version for Windows (32 bit).

You can compile the VM on a variety of platforms:

• MS Windows
• Linux
• Mac OS/X
• SUN Solaris
• IBM AIX
• HP-UX
• SGI Irix

Not everything is supported everywhere. But I think that we will solve all problems when the time comes by...

(BTW: Of course you can sponsor a computer or money if you want to ensure that some feature will be realized and maintained...)
